Portland Trail Blazers big man Zach Collins thinks he'll be able to return this season despite undergoing left shoulder surgery.
Collins underwent successful surgery to repair his left labrum last week. He will begin a treatment and rehabilitation process and be re-evaluated in approximately four months.

In the first three games of the season, Collins averaged 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 47.4 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from beyond the arc and a perfect 100 percent from the free-throw line.

It has been a slow start for Portland. The Blazers suffered a bad loss last week, losing to a Golden State Warriors team playing without All-Stars Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and D’Angelo Russell. Before losing to the Warriors, the Blazers also blew a big lead to the Philadelphia 76ers at home and wound up losing on a Furkan Korkmaz game-winning 3-pointer in the final second.
After defeating the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, the Blazers improved to 4-6. There's still plenty of time for the Blazers to find their groove.
