The Portland Trail Blazers and Damian Lillard are still committed to each other. Back in April, Lillard stated his desire to remain with the franchise, admitting that he has no plans to leave. However, Lillard might have other big plans. According to Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer, Lillard has three players in mind who he wants to team up with.

On the Dunc’d on Podcast with Nate Duncan, Bleacher Reports’ Jake Fischer threw out three players that Lillard wants to play with and the Trail Blazers are looking at: Deandre Ayton, OG Anunoby, and John Collins (hat tip HoopsHype).

Per Fisher's Blazers rumor, Lillard is eyeing a team-up with Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton, Toronto Raptors forward OG Anunoby or Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins. With longtime teammate CJ McCollum no longer in Portland, Lillard knows that he needs another capable player on his side to navigate the Western Conference.

Each of these guys would potentially help the Blazers to do so. Ayton would give Portland a solid inside-out duo. The Suns center, however, has durability concerns, just like incumbent Jusuf Nurkic.

Anunoby, one of the better young 3-and-D wings in the NBA, would likely make the most sense as a fit alongside Lillard. The Raptors forward is capable of scoring on or off the ball- and his perimeter defense would be welcomed on the Blazers.

Collins, who the Hawks shopped at the trade deadline, would bring versatility and athleticism to the Blazers' frontcourt. Give Lillard credit: he is certainly paying attention.

Each of these players is reportedly unhappy with their current situations. Perhaps a change of scenery with Lillard in Portland would do one of them some good.
