The Lakers might have won the Summer League, but they're still ways away from making the playoffs with a young squad — let alone contending with a team that has consistently made the playoffs the last four seasons.

But if there was anyone who would attest to the Lakers being miles ahead of the Trailblazers confidently, it would have to be LaVar Ball. The confident yet loud father of the No. 2 pick Lonzo Ball boldly stated Lonzo would lead the franchise to the playoffs in his first year starting.
