The Portland Trail Blazers' backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are great friends and have excellent chemistry on and off the court.
However, all friendship was laid aside when the star guards' hometown football teams faced off.
Lillard was born and raised in Oakland, while McCollum is from Ohio. When the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns matched up Sunday, there was obviously some trash talking between the two over who had the better team.
Both players came decked out in their respective football team's gear to show support; McCollum in Browns orange and Lillard head-to-toe in Raiders black.
By the end of an intense and fiery game that went into overtime, the Raiders had defeated the Browns 45-42 and won their first game of the season.

The good-natured ribbing is common between the two guards, who are consistently messing with each other after being teammates for the past five seasons.
The Blazers are looking to improve off a great regular season but a disastrous postseason last year.
Led by their backcourt, Portland shocked the league by taking the third seed in the Western Conference. However, they immediately flopped out of the postseason when they were swept by the New Orleans Pelicans and Anthony Davis.
It's apparent that this season will be a turning point for the Blazers. If they don't see some level of postseason success, Lillard and McCollum might not be teammates much longer.
