The Golden State Warriors are once again on a roll this postseason and have remained unbeaten through eight games. Now in the Western Conference Finals, they are hoping they can continue their run of success and eliminate the San Antonio Spurs.
That said, Gregg Popovich understands how difficult it will be for his team to prevent their opponents from doing so. With the lineup and the confidence they currently have, the veteran head coach had a hilarious answer, via Melissa Rohlin of MySanAntonio.com, when asked how he thinks they can pull off the upset against the West's top seeded squad.

Warriors acting head coach Mike Brown responded by making it known that he does not believe that's all his counterpart is doing to prepare the Spurs. He knows how good Popovich is at a coach and said he is certain he's doing more than just pray at this point.

Although both teams' stars will take much of the spotlight, it will also be interesting to witness the battle between the coaching staffs on the sidelines. The series is expected to be a competitive one, and the difference between winning and losing might depend on the adjustments made by the coaches.
Game 1 on Sunday will reveal what plays Popovich will make the Spurs run during the game, to give them a better chance of beating their opponents. However, given the talent and experience the Warriors have, it may not be a bad idea at all to also pray to the basketball gods for them to be kind to his team throughout the series.
