As the Spurs wait to hear the decision of free agent Kevin Durant, they at least have some good news to go on today. Veteran guard Manu Ginobili announced on his personal blog that he will return for his 15th season.
Although Ginobili played just 19.6 minutes per game last season, the lowest average of his career, he still contributed 9.6 points and 3.1 assists per game on 45-percent shooting.

The most important news to tell you is I am determined to continue playing in the NBA. Did not have many doubts, but as I recently wanted to let a little time and see the season went from a little further. The reality is that this year I feel safer and I have it even clearer than the previous year. While he did not specifically mention returning to the Spurs in the post, the 39-year-old Argentine is expected to return to San Antonio. Ginobili has played his entire career with the team, appearing in 923 games for the Spurs.
