The San Antonio Spurs are reportedly one of the teams Kyrie Irving wants to be traded to.

Irving made a trade request to the Cleveland Cavaliers a couple weeks back, and additionally, reports are claiming that Irving wants to be traded to only four teams. Along with the Spurs, he'd prefer to be moved to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat, or the New York Knicks.

The Spurs do not have much to trade away but are still considered contenders for Irving. Spurs guard Patty Mills, who recently signed an extension with the organization, decided to add his take to the debate with Jeff Garcia from News 4 San Antonio:

“You never know which ones are true and which ones aren't,” said Mills. “He's obviously an All-Star point guard and has been now for a number of years. So we just got to work out to see if that actually happens or not.”

If the trade does happen, Mills might be a part of it. The Spurs would be getting a new point guard and that position is stacked in San Antonio. Due to this, Mills and presumably Dejounte Murray would be going the other way.

Mills recently signed a four-year, $50 million deal with the Spurs.
