The NBA's No. 1 pick is getting closer to returning to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Markelle Fultz, who has missed most of the season with a right shoulder injury, is making progress. The soreness he was experiencing for weeks is gone, and he seems to be on the track to being 100 percent, per Jessica Camerato of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

This is great news for the 76ers, who have seen Fultz go in and out of the lineup because of this injury to his right shoulder. The No. 1 pick has only played four games so far this season, per Basketball Reference.

While three weeks is a long time for the team and 76ers fans to wait to see if Fultz is ready, it will be well worth the wait if Fultz returns 100 percent healthy and with no setbacks to his shoulder.

The 76ers have played very well this season without Fultz, so the organization can afford to take as much time as it needs to make absolutely sure their star draft pick feels ready to go.

When the day comes that Fultz is healthy, it can only help the 76ers, who already have studs in Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. Fultz will give them another scoring option, making them even more versatile than they already are.
