The Oklahoma City Thunder have gotten off to an unexpected 4-7 start to the season, and after losing four straight with Thursday night's defeat to the Denver Nuggets, the players opted to call a closed-door meeting to iron out their issues.

“It was just good to get everything out on the table,” swingman Paul George told reporters, according to The Oklahoman via ESPN. “Especially where we're at right now, it's no good if we're bottling it up, because then we could carry it over to the next game and the next game. Just leave everything out in the open.”

Not only have they lost seven of their first 11 games of the season, but the Thunder remain winless against their own Western Conference, reaching the 0-6 mark with yesterday's loss.

“Meetings just make sure we all stay together no matter what,” point guard Raymond Felton said, according to The Norman Transcript. “Everybody said their piece. Coach (Billy Donovan) said his piece… Right now, we going through something, and we got to stick together no matter what.”

Oklahoma City didn't make the most of a special night for Carmelo Anthony, passing former NBA superstar Allen Iverson for 24th in all-time scoring, dropping 28 points on 10-of-20 from the floor, while Russell Westbrook and George combined for a ghastly 26 points on 12-of-36 shooting.
