Heading into Wednesday's matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Toronto Raptors, many were intrigued to see both teams compete against each another especially being top contenders in their respective conferences. It did not take long for it to be a hotly contested one, as a scuffle happened in the second quarter.
It involved Russell Westbrook and Jonas Valanciunas, who tried to get the ball from the reigning MVP while he was sitting on the floor with it. It quickly escalated as he did not let go of the ball and swung his arms. That resulted to their teammates having to separate them to avoid the situation to boil over and both players receiving a technical foul each.
Don't grab at the ball when Russell Westbrook has it, Jonas 😳

The Thunder are looking to extend their season-high winning streak to six games with a win on the night. It will also take their record to 19-15 for the season and put a little pressure on the Minnesota Timberwolves who currently own the fourth seed in the West.
The Raptors on the other hand are trying to get back to their winning ways following a defeat on Tuesday against the Dallas Mavericks. Should they win on the road, they will have a chance to move closer in regaining the top spot in the East and improve to 24-9.
