Throughout his promising NBA career, Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins has showcased his ability to jump high and finish strong on alley oops. However on Tuesday versus the Philadelphia 76ers, he missed one after getting fouled in the air, to the surprise of Jimmy Butler, who threw the lob pass to him.

The former number one overall pick then headed to the free throw line to shoot a couple of shots, and Butler wanted to make sure Wiggins' calves were fine by checking them himself.

Andrew Wiggins still finished the game with a solid stat line of 20 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals, but he struggled knocking down shots, as he was only 8-of-24 from the field. The Timberwolves ultimately lost to the Sixers in overtime, 118-112.

No news surfaced after the game about Wiggins suffering a calf injury, which will remove all worries that the team’s fans may have had when they saw Jimmy Butler check on his calf. The Timberwolves are expected to once again be at full strength in their next game when they take on the Sacramento Kings on Thursday.
