Following their tough two-point loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, Toronto Raptors star guard DeMar DeRozan was understandably not in the best of moods. Their plans of starting another winning streak was thwarted by the visiting team on the night, in what could have been a statement game for them where they'll be able to send a strong message to the defending champions that they are a force to be reckoned with.

While the Raptors are also to blame for the result, the three-time All-Star made it known that he thinks the referees contributed to their loss. He admitted, via Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports, that he is frustrated that he felt his team was going up against eight people on the court.

Despite finishing with an impressive stat line of 42 points, five rebounds and three assists, his efforts went to waste as the Raptors ultimately lost, 127-125. It was also their second loss in three games and things will only get tougher as they are set to play three of their next five games on the road starting on Monday versus the dangerous Philadelphia 76ers.

With how the NBA has been been strict about how they reprimand players who talk against their game officials, it will be interesting to find out how the league office will act after finding out what DeRozan had to say. Should they deem it as worthy of issuing a fine to him, the 28-year-old USC product could be slapped with one and will have to pay it first in order to get cleared.
