The Toronto Raptors find themselves in a familiarly-grim territory, down 3-0 in the Eastern Conference semifinal series and now forced to battle for their playoff lives with an awful-steep mountain to climb against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Head coach Dwane Casey is aware of the importance of an upcoming Game 4, one which could potentially spell the sour end to his stint as a coach of the team after repeated failures with this roster.

“We have one more game, our pride is on the line, basically our season is on the line,” Casey said, according to The Associated Press.

Cavs coach Tyronn Lue is aware that the closeout game is perhaps the hardest, yet still looking to keep himself undefeated in second-round playoff games in his three seasons as a coach.

“It's a tough game because it's either win or go home for the team down 3-0,” said Lue. “They're going to come out swinging like they did last night and when you have a team with a lot of pride that's well coached they're not just going to give in. They're going to do everything they can to try to win the game and get back to Toronto.

“We understand that and we just have to come out with the right mindset and match their intensity early and try to close it out if we can.”

The top-seeded Raptors will be fighting for honor, most likely, given that no team has made it back from a 3-0 hole in NBA history — making it all the much tougher to rally for this upcoming road game at The Q.
