Kawhi Leonard continued his resurgence after his bizarre 2017-18 campaign with the San Antonio Spurs. The new Raptors star poured in 35 points on 15-of-23 shooting to go along with five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals.
Leonard looks totally healthy and ready to make a run at an MVP award. He's getting plenty of help from Kyle Lowry, who stuffed the box score with 13 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and four steals. Lowry has been terrific to start the season and hasn't missed a beat after having so much success with DeMar DeRozan.

Three other Raptors scored in double figures as the club shot 51.7 percent from the field in the victory. Toronto controlled the game throughout and opened a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter before one last Minnesota surge made things interesting. Leonard put the final nail in the coffin with just under a minute to play.
Jimmy Butler led the Timberwolves with 23 points, six steals, five assists and four rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns struggled to the tune of 5-of-17 shooting as his slow start to the season continues.
The Raptors will look to make it 6-0 when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. The 2015-16 Raptors lost their sixth game to the Orlando Magic before going on and losing to LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
These Raptors have their eyes on going even further, and this time they won't have LeBron and the Cavs in their way to stop them.
