It was clear to anyone that watched the Portland Trail Blazers' game on Friday that Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert's late-game goaltend against Damian Lillard went uncalled. According to the NBA's official last two-minute report, the referees in the game officially missed the call per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

After a clutch bucket from Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell to put his team up two, the Blazers had a chance to take the lead or equalize.

With 13.9 seconds left, Lillard would go up for a layup. Gobert would interfere with the ball after it had hit the backboard resulting in a missed goaltending call and ultimately, a win for Utah.

The L2M report also confirmed that Jazz wing Joe Ingles fouled Lillard with just over a minute left in the game. That foul also went uncalled.

Not only did Utah's win spoil Lillard 42-point night, but it also snapped a five-game losing streak for the team. The Jazz now sit at 33-18 on the season and in fourth place in the Western Conference.

As for Portland, the team is on the edge of the playoff race as the conference's ninth seed. Prior to Friday's loss, the Blazers had won five of their last six matchups.

While the missed goaltending wouldn't have automatically given Portland the win, it would have likely sent the game to overtime. The win would've also been big for a Blazers squad that is just behind Memphis for the eighth seed.

Forward Bojan Bogdanovic led Utah with 27 points on 10-of-16 shooting.
