Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell is in awe of Kawhi Leonard, and it's not only because of the Los Angeles Clippers star's two-way ability.

Ahead of the Jazz-Clippers Game 1 on Tuesday, Mitchell spoke about Leonard and how he has proven time and time again that he is a winner.

“The thing I respect about Kawhi—everybody talks about his two-way ability, which is obviously elite—but it's his will to win. … He does everything,” Mitchell said, per Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Indeed, fans don't have to look far to know what Donovan Mitchell is talking about. In their first round playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks, Kawhi Leonard showed his mental resilience as he led the Clippers' comeback from a 2-0 deficit.

Unlike the 2020 playoffs when Leonard and the Clippers collapsed, it was different this time as the Fun Guy showed how he has won two NBA titles and two Finals MVPs with the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors.

As Mitchell said it, Leonard is more than just a player who is elite on both offense and defense. It's his winning mentality that separates him from other great two-way players in the league today.

With that said, it goes without saying that the Clippers might be the biggest challenge the Jazz will have to face in the 2021 playoffs. They are title contenders for a reason.

However, Kawhi and LA certainly can't take it easy against the Jazz. After all, this is a team that topped the tough Western Conference and is being led by an All-Star guard in Mitchell and a defensive juggernaut in Rudy Gobert.
