Bojan Bogdanovic thoroughly enjoyed his tenure with the Indiana Pacers. In fact, the sweet-shooting forward seriously considered re-signing with the Pacers, and the fact his last contract offer from Indiana included a non-guarantee in the final year had nothing to do with his decision to leave.
But as he told J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star, when Bogdanovic was presented with a four-year, $73 million offer by the Utah Jazz, who had just made a major move by trading for Mike Conley, the combination of financial security and championship contention simply proved too enticing for him to pass up.

I really wanted to stay there (but) then, when I see the offer from the Jazz, and then I saw the roster and the opportunity that I would have here it was big-time for me. That’s the reason why I left.”
Bogdanovic is coming off a career campaign in which he thrived as the Pacers' primary offensive option after a season-ending injury to franchise player Victor Oladipo in January. Though sure to see a decline in usage with the Jazz, he's perfectly suited as a tertiary offensive option who can spot up opposite Rudy Gobert pick-and-rolls and punish mismatches after switches.
Bogdanovic, 30, averaged a career-high 18.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game last season, pulling off the difficult feat of increasing his efficiency while upping his usage en route to a 61.3 true shooting percentage.
