Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic have forged themselves into Utah Jazz history as the first pair to average more than 20 points per game since legendary duo Karl Malone and Jeff Malone.
Back in the 1991-92 season, the Malones averaged 28 points and 20.2 points per game, respectively. Mitchell and Bogdanovic are currently averaging 24.7 points and 21 points, respectively.
For the first time since the 1991-92 season, the Jazz have two players averaging more than 20 points a game: Donovan Mitchell (24.7) & Bojan Bogdanović (21).
The last Jazz players to do that in the same season were Karl Malone (28) & Jeff Malone (20.2).#TimeToLearn | @wgu pic.twitter.com/gU8tOJYgYQ

Since entering the league, Mitchell has been lighting up the scoreboard through his 3-point shooting and high-flying layups and dunks. His penchant for scoring, coupled with his maturity, is what he brings to the court every time he suits up.
Article Continues BelowBogdanovic, for his part, has picked up his scoring for the past few seasons. From averaging just nine points per game in his rookie year, he bulked it up to double figures in the next season and constantly improved. He signed a lucrative four year, $73 million contract with the Jazz over the summer. And so far, he's been worth every penny for the squad.
However, Mitchell and Bogdanovic's scoring hasn't exactly translated to wins for the Jazz. So far, they have a mediocre 12-10 record for sixth place in the West. They made some key additions over the summer with hopes of beefing up their squad.
But from the looks of it, a few more tweaks are needed because things aren't exactly working as expected.
