Across all levels of sport, there are fans who think they know what's best for their respective teams. In the old days, these fans were forced to express their opinions within their personal circles. Or, if they were adamant, they might have received a few minutes of air time on their local radio show. Nowadays, though, with the advent of the internet, these armchair experts are taking to Twitter to convey their message — a fact that Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell finds amusing:

To be fair, our freedom to express opinions on social media is a beautiful thing. However, those opinions are often relayed on a whim, with little to no regard for the human being on the other end.
Article Continues BelowMitchell, now 22 years of age, doesn't seem to mind the outside noise, as he's continuing to make a name for himself in the NBA. In his 27 appearances with the Jazz this season (all starts), the former Louisville Cardinal has racked up averages of 21.0 points on 42.3 percent shooting from the field (30.3 percent from beyond the arc), 3.2 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 32.3 minutes per outing.

Mitchell and the Jazz (14-17 and fifth in the Southwest Division standings) will be back in action on Wednesday, when they'll welcome the Golden State Warriors to Vivint Smart Home Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET.
