After a slow start to the season, Donovan Mitchell has finally found his rhythm and has been playing extremely well for the Utah Jazz as of late.
He had 35 points, six rebounds, and six assists to help lead the Utah Jazz to a 114-108 victory against the Denver Nuggets. This was a follow-up to his 36-7-5 statline against the Portland Trail Blazers the other day, With back-to-back games with at least 35 points, Mitchell has accomplished something that hasn't been done by any Jazz player since Karl Malone did it 21 years ago.

It seems like Mitchell is ready to be the next franchise player of the Jazz.
Article Continues BelowAfter spending most of the season outside the Western Conference playoff race, Mitchell and the Jazz have started to climb back up the standings. They have won eight of their last ten games and are now tied with the San Antonio Spurs for the sixth best record in the West. And a win or two could propel Utah to as high as the third spot in the conference.
Mitchell had a stellar rookie campaign. He led the Jazz to the Western Conference semi-finals last year, upsetting the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round. Although he didn't make a lot of noise in the first few months of sophomore season, Mitchell seems to have regained his confidence and is ready to lead Utah to another run in the postseason.
Mitchell is currently putting up 22.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while shooting 42 percent from the floor in 45 games for the Jazz this season.
