Teamwork makes the dream work – at least by Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio's standards.
The 28-year-old Utah Jazz point guard isn't a fan of the NBA trade deadline, and he let the league's front offices know (h/t Yiannis Bouranis of Talk Basket).

“It wasn’t fun and all. Do I like it? No. I hate it. It is what it is. You move on and keep playing,” the Spanish guard added regarding the drama of the trade deadline.
Rubio is one of the greatest dime-droppers the league has ever laid its eyes on (3,693 all-time), which justifies why he would have this zealous advocacy of team cohesiveness.
Though the Jazz were motionless in their trade activity last week, having not made a move since dealing shooting guard Alec Burks and two future second-round picks to the Cleveland Cavaliers for veteran Kyle Korver back in November. It's obvious that Rubio, who played his first six seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves, has endured the losses of close teammates during this pivotal time of year.
“We have a great group of guys, and I’ve never been on a team like this where we have each other’s back. We love each other here. Yesterday, we showed it to [Derrick Favors] too,” Rubio told Andy Larson of The Salt Lake Tribune.
Ricky Rubio's numbers have tapered off since last season, as he's currently averaging 12.9 points, 6.1 assists, and 3.6 rebounds for Utah. He'll look to improve while the team works to remain in playoff contention.
