Pardon his French, but Rudy Gobert is beside himself after feeling that the Utah Jazz got robbed against the Philadelphia 76ers. Gobert and his team lost another tough one against the Sixers as they fell short in the battle of the best teams from both conferences slugged it out on Wednesday night.
Utah's frustrating evening was capped off with a series of questionable calls which ultimately swung to the home team's favor. This, according to the two-time DPOY, was a bit too malicious.
“I feel we get disrespected,” Gobert expressed after the tough OT loss (via Eric Walden of the Salt Lake Tribune). “Referees have a tough job and they do their best, but it was too obvious tonight.”

The Jazz chances to win the game plummeted down when they lost their starting guard Donovan Mitchell after the 24-year-old lost his temper and got called for two technical fouls in two minutes after a series of calls went the Sixers' favor. Mitchell, who ended with a team-high of 33 points, was ejected with 30 seconds left in OT.
“I watch what guys are getting on one end and what we're getting on the other end. It can't be just mistakes,” Gobert added. “Mike Conley has never had a technical in his life, and they don't f–king respect him. I don't know what else we can do.”

It's safe to say that Gobert and the rest of the Jazz won't be having the best of plane rides back to Utah. Despite the loss though, this red-hot Jazz unit can still hold their heads high as they continue to comfortably sit at the top of the league with a 27-9 record entering the All-Star break.
