The Utah Jazz have officially pulled the plug on the Donovan Mitchell-Rudy Gobert partnership after they traded the latter to the Minnesota Timberwolves. In return, the Jazz got a king's ransom of picks (four first-round picks, a pick swap and recent first-round pick Walker Kessler) and an army of players. In the wake of this blockbuster deal, reports of other trade offers for Gobert are coming out.
One of the most interesting trade offers for Gobert came from the Toronto Raptors, apparently. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Toronto offered the Jazz a package revolving around OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr. That's certainly one of the more intriguing offers we've heard offered for the multi-time DPOY:

Trent and Anunoby would certainly have been interesting additions to a Jazz team built around Donovan Mitchell. One of the biggest weaknesses of the team last season was their atrocious perimeter defense. The Mavs series exposed that to the world.
Had they taken the Raptors' offer, Trent and Anunoby would've done wonders for the Jazz defense. Both are also capable shooters from deep who can create their shot when needed. At the very least, it would've made for an interesting team.
The Jazz's future plans are still up in the air. The consensus that most people agree on is that the team will be building around Mitchell in the future. However, there are still rumors that Utah will switch to a full rebuild and trade Mitchell for a bevy of picks and assets.
