The NBA's most recent partnership with Nike has been very fruitful to say the least. This season, Nike agreed to create custom City Edition jerseys for all 30 NBA teams. The results have been inconsistent with some teams have amazing jerseys while others may need to consider a jersey change.

One of the fan favorites this seams has been the City Jersey of the Utah Jazz. Their red and yellow jersey that fits perfectly with their alternate court has been selling incredibly well. In fact, the Jazz are having a difficult time supplying the unreal demand for their custom City Edition jerseys, according to Jazz President Steve Sparks.

The response has been unlike anything we’ve ever seen as they became the fastest selling Jazz jersey in history. We have a limited quantity arriving at the before the end of the season and are hustling to get even more from Nike.

This is interesting. The Jazz are known for being a small market franchise. It's an rare scene for them to actually have a high demand in anything. Though, the franchise does boast one of the best rookies in the NBA, who is none other than Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell's amazing play has propelled the Jazz into playoff contention just one season after losing Gordon Hayward.

This publicity is boding well for the Jazz, who are turning a large profit. The good news is that the Jazz will find a way to get more City Edition jerseys for its fans. Also, this is good for the Jazz, who are beginning to make the next step at establishing a franchise identity. Hopefully, those jerseys come in soon.
