Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert is still facing the scorn of many angry NBA fans for the season being cancelled. Given the situation is now a literal global pandemic, with entire states shutdown, it's rather silly to see be blaming the talented defensive player for the end of the season.

Alas, here we are, Jazz fans. Here. We. Are.

Smack talking and profanity is commonplace in the world of gaming. It is another matter altogether, though, when it's an NBA star that's dishing out the NSFW bashing.

This is exactly what Utah Jazz big man Rudy Gobert recently got himself into in a Call of Duty stream. Here is a clip of the reigning two-time Defensive Player of the Year lashing out at a random basher:

TMZ Sports reports that the comment that prompted this rather unsavory statement from the Jazz big man was: “Thanks for starting covid in the nba dumbass.”

For his part, Gobert responded with a not-so-graceful retort of his own: “Go to school. P—y.”

That's not a nice thing to say, Rudy. Especially considering how you're supposed to be a role model for the younger generation. Even more so if it was actually a kid who he was ruthlessly bashing here. Again, trash talking is all part of the game, but we expect more from a guy like Gobert.

As it seems, the 7-foot-1 big man is still touchy on the coronavirus subject. Gobert was the first NBA player to test positive for the virus, and this happened days after he was seen mockingly touching media equipment after an interview.

Gobert's irresponsible act has caused a ton of backlash, including a brewing feud with teammate Donovan Mitchell, who himself also tested positive for the coronavirus. It appears that Gobert is still overly sensitive about this particular subject.
