Draymond Green defended his Instagram post after seeing many new outlets deem it a petty shot to LeBron James and his struggling Cleveland Cavaliers.
James posted a picture of the cartoon Arthur with a clenched fist with the caption “mood” — after losing a narrow game against the Atlanta Hawks, making that the Cavs' fifth loss in the last six games of the young season.
Green followed by posting one of his own today of him with his tongue out, captioned the same way as James, making many think this was one of his petty social media shots, which the two have been known to trade throughout the years.

The Golden State Warriors forward took to Twitter to clear it up, claiming it had nothing to do with him taking a shot at James, but rather his own self-expression.
FYI people should really stop making assumptions… I'm still trying to figure out how y'all made Bron post out to be about the Celtics…

Let alone me posting something to "troll" him and idk wth he even posted about… neither do y'all…

I just thought the pic was dope and that was my mood today… I'm always the first to say when I'm going at someone… and always will

While this is still debatable, coming from someone like Green who loves to antagonize and get in people's heads — he's been known to admit to his pettiness, as he did with the “Quickie” t-shirt he worn at the last championship parade, a play on the 4-1 team record in the NBA Finals.
So today my good people y'all shot and y'all missed!!! 😊😊😊

The Warriors and the Cavs are running different paths, with the former in a four-game win streak, winning seven of their last eight games — while the Cavs have lost five of their last six games and at one point four in a row before a LeBron James' 57-point explosion on Friday against the Washington Wizards.
James and Green still have a score to settle after trading wins in the NBA Finals, but for now all we can look forward to is their first matchup of the season on Christmas Day.
