The Golden State Warriors edged out a close win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day.
It featured All-Star forward dropping his 20th career triple-double with 12 points, 11 assists, and 12 rebounds, which pushed the Warriors to another impressive feat when Green puts together those type of performances, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

With Stephen Curry still sidelined with an ankle injury in the matchup, Green took over the primary distributor duties by dishing out a game-high 11 assists. In fact, he proved to be the game-changing factor on both ends of the floor for the Warriors that helped counter Kevin Love's huge performance with a double-double posting a game-high 31 points and 18 rebounds.
The 27-year-old tied the all-time franchise record with Tom Gola by recording his 20 career triple-doubles. It also made him just the sixth player in NBA history to accomplish that feat on Christmas Day joining Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Billy Cunningham, John Havlicek, and Oscar Robertson.
Green has had much success in his career in the regular season against the Cavaliers prior to Monday's matchup averaging 12.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 10 games. More importantly, this showcased once again why the two-time All-Star has been an integral part of the Warriors' success over the last several seasons and will continue to be so moving forward.
