Draymond Green is one of the most versatile players in the NBA today and the Golden State Warriors have been the beneficiaries of his all-around brilliance. Recording a triple-double doesn’t guarantee a win but in Green’s case, it does.

In the 24 games in which Green has notched a triple-double, the Warriors have been undefeated, a record that shows everyone how valuable he is to the team’s success.

Green holds the regular season franchise record for most triple-doubles (21) in franchise history, having surpassed Tom Gola who had 20 for his career. He took the record January this year when Green scored 17 points, grabbed 14 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists.

In the highly anticipated match-up last Christmas versus the Cleveland Cavaliers, Green had 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists to go along with two steals and a block.

He also had three playoff games in which he had a triple-double, including one in the 2015 NBA Finals when the Warriors clinched the championship in Game 6. He finished the game with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.

His most triple-doubles in a season came in the 2015-16 season when he accumulated 13 triple-doubles.

But his most unique accomplishment was when he posted only four points in a 122-107 win versus the Memphis Grizzlies. Though he didn’t score in double figures, he was able to grab 12 boards, deliver 10 assists, and stole the ball 10 times. It was the first-ever triple-double in NBA history in which a player didn’t score at least 10 points.
