Right after the Christmas Day game between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, a debate immediately sparked on Twitter on whether or not Kevin Durant fouled LeBron James during the last few plays of the matchup. He admitted that he already knew that will happen whatever the outcome will be, and also had a message to the fans.

The Dubs' star forward made it clear that debates may go on for days after the first meeting between the two finalists of the past three seasons, but it won't change the result of the game, and that it should remain only on the social media platform.

The Warriors won on the night, 99-92, with Durant top-scoring for the team, and finishing with an impressive stat line of 25 points, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and five blocked shots. Draymond Green also played well, recording a triple-double of 12 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists, to avenge their Christmas Day loss to the Cavs last season.

The win may leave some controversy with the no-calls on Durant, but he knows that his defense on James was superb, and that he made it very difficult for him to dominate the game. Should it be a preview of another Finals meeting between both teams, it can be expected that their future games will be even more competitive, especially if there's more at stake.
