Klay Thompson is regarded as one of the most efficient 3-point shooters in league history. His extraordinary range and consistency is one of the reasons why the Golden State Warriors are on top. It also helps that Thompson is a reliable defender who can guard multiple positions. On Thursday, Thompson scored his 10,000 point as a Warrior, becoming the 10th Warrior to do so. This is an incredible feat, especially for a niche 3-point shooter still in his prime. Thompson is one of the more laid-back players of the Warriors. He's rarely in the media, except for his expedition to China last summer. Thompson also doesn't interact much with other players as well to be a consistent media topic. Therefore, it's perfectly understandable that the shooting guard gave such a robotic response. Though, there could be an ulterior motive.

Thompson and the Warriors are focused on repeating as champions this year. Therefore, there is no time to focus on trivial matters. The Warriors have a title to win, and Thompson will be an integral part of this process.
