Stephen Curry's impending return to the court has been the main issue in the Bay Area after the former two-time MVP missed the last 15 games for the Golden State Warriors between the regular season and the playoffs.
The 6-foot-3 guard went through a full-contact practice on Thursday, showing no setbacks and is due to be re-evaluated after he concludes a second practice today.
According to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area, Curry's availability for Game 1 is “possible,” while it's “certain” that he will play in Game 2, barring any setbacks.

Curry was seen doing shooting drills, running, cutting, and jumping — with the only oddity being him sporting a brace in his left knee.
His impact on the team is by far undeniable, boasting 120.4 points per 100 possessions when he's on the floor (the highest scoring mark in the league in the past 20 seasons), and reduced to a league-average offense when he's off.
Curry will have some adjusting to do, as well as the team, having switched to a Kevin Durant-centric plan of attack in his absence — but the threat of his shooting abilities alone will pose a big problem for the New Orleans Pelicans, who have reportedly practiced as if he's taking the court from the get-go.
