Heading into the offseason, there were plenty of questions surrounding the Golden State Warriors and their roster with many key players hitting the open market in free agency.

Those potential hurdles were quickly brushed aside as the Warriors were able to bring back nearly every player that became a free agent while adding a few more pieces to the puzzle in Omri Casspi and Nick Young. Two-time league MVP Stephen Curry recently told Monte Poole of NBC Sports that he believes that his team has improved over the summer.

“We have great potential and the opportunity to do some amazing things and win more championships,” Stephen Curry said Monday afternoon, referring to the Warriors returning 12 players from their roster. “When you have that chemistry, you don’t want it to end. You don’t want to have to start over and, I wouldn’t necessarily say ‘rebuild.’ But (we can) just take advantage of the camaraderie and the chemistry and the vibe that we’ve created around the Warriors organization.

“So for them to get it done and sign all the guys they needed to sign and add two great players in Omri Casspi and Nick Young, and draft Jordan Bell, I think we got better.”

The only thing that was certain going into free agency was that both Curry and Kevin Durant were going to be back on new deals. However, there were questions facing Andre Iguodala's future with the team as there were reports ahead of the start of free agency that he was going to meet with several teams.

However, Durant's willingness to take a deal that was around $10 million less than the maximum annual salary gave the Warriors more cap space to sign Iguodala to a three-year, $48 million deal. Meanwhile, the team was able to ink David West, Zaza Pachulia, and JaVale McGee to one-year contracts.

All of this has allowed for the Warriors to come back next season with not only the same roster but a stronger team that could be in line to add another NBA title.
