The pregame routine of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has become famous all around the NBA.

Curry's ball handling drills, shooting sequences, and general jolly-slash-intense demeanor has fans showing up hours in advance of a Warriors game to take pictures and video of the sequence.

Every now and again, Curry will show off certain aspects of his routine that make spectators stare in wonder and awe at him and what he can do. Before Saturday's game, Curry was launching shots from San Jose, and giving the crowd a show, per the NBA's official Twitter account.

It doesn't even matter that none of those shots didn't count. It makes no difference that the shots aren't realistic to attempt during an actual game. Curry is just plain fun to watch.

The fact that Curry can calmly and cleanly shoot 3-pointers near halfcourt is nothing short of incredible. At times, Curry will take threes from well beyond the arc. But he has never really taken any from that far away.

Nonetheless, shots like those — and how easily it looks for him to shoot them — are fun to watch. Curry makes four of them in the video when it would take mere mortals hours to convert that many.

There may be another motive here for Curry. Perhaps he puts shots like these in his routine so he can put fear into the opposing team. Think of what players on the other side of the court are thinking when Curry is swishing shots from 90 billion feet away.

They must not be good thoughts.
