After missing their game against the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, Washington Wizards star guard John Wall will return to action on Tuesday when they face the Dallas Mavericks. He suffered a sprained shoulder during Friday night's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but is now healthy enough to be back on the court for his team, according to Chase Hughes of NBC Washington.

This is definitely good news to the Wizards, especially with the 27-year-old Kentucky product's strong start to the season. Through eight games so far, he is averaging impressive numbers of of 20.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 10.4 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. Wall is also a big reason why the Wizards have been able to record a 5-4 record in the young season, and looking geared to string a few more wins together.

Tim Frazier will return to his sixth man role for the Wizards, and should receive playing time when Wall rests on the bench. He played a season-high 31 minutes versus the Raptors, and had a decent production of four points, two rebounds and eight assists.

Wall's availability on Tuesday will also set up an intriguing matchup between him and Mavs rookie Dennis Smith Jr., who is continuing to turn a lot of heads with his good play. There have been comparisons made to his style of play to the four-time All-Star's, and it will be very interesting to see how he fares against him in their first meeting in the NBA.
