Daeshun Ruffin, a 4-star guard in the 2021 recruiting class, has set an official visit with the Alabama Crimson Tide for Nov. 19, according to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.
The 5-9 point guard, who attends Callaway High School in Mississippi, originally committed to Auburn back in June before de-committing from the school.
Ruffin holds other SEC offers from LSU, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss, and he took a visit to Oxford this weekend.
He is rated as the top player in Mississippi and No. 26 player overall in the 2021 class, according to 247Sports.
Nate Oats and his staff continue to pursue lots of top targets on the recruiting trail, and Alabama has already had success early on in his tenure by securing a top 20 class for this season.
The Crimson Tide will tip off the new college basketball season on Nov. 5 as they host Penn at Coleman Coliseum.
