The loss will surely drop Purdue from the nation's top spot.
In the loss, Trevion Williams finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Those are NBA numbers in a college game.
Meanwhile, Rutgers' Ron Harper Jr. bested him. He dropped 30 points and 10 rebounds, including the biggest shot of the college basketball season so far.
Article Continues BelowRon Harper Jr. is the son of former NBA great Ron Harper. Harper is considered one of the best players in NBA history to never have been selected to the All Star team. A lot of that was due to circumstance.
He was drafted 8th overall in the 1986 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He played the first eight seasons of his career with Cleveland and the Los Angeles Clippers before joining Michael Jordan with the Bulls. He helped Jordan win the second 3-peat, then moved onto the Los Angeles Lakers and won two more titles.
Harper was mostly known for being elite defensively. His son though, appears to have an elite set of offensive skills.
