Just minutes after the Brooklyn Nets suffered a deflating 0-4 sweep at the hands of the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs, basketball Hall of Famer turned NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley is already asking the tough questions.

As the TNT crew dissected the Nets' season-ending loss to Boston in Game 4, Barkley could not help but question what the future holds for this team following their embarrassing opening-round exit in the postseason:

“Who's going to want to play on that team?” Barkley asked. “… I think the hardest thing for this team going forward is, ‘Where are we going to get players?' That, to me, is gonna be the msot important part going forward.”

Sir Charles does seem to have a point here. Outside of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Ben Simmons (God knows when that dude's going to play), the Nets are spread pretty thin. They don't have much maneuverability in the offseason as well in terms of their cap space, so as Barkley implied here, the front office will be hard-pressed in trying to surround this trio with good players.

The dust hasn't even settled on Brooklyn's defeat and already, Barkley has slapped them with the harsh reality of their current predicament.
