Jacque Vaughn reveals what his relationship is like with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving
Jacque Vaughn says his relationship with KD and Kyrie is good and growing.

Multiple reports stated Durant and Irving didn’t have the best rapport with ex-coach Kenny Atkinson. With that said, it’s good to see that the two franchise players in Brooklyn appear to be giving Vaughn the respect he deserves as a former NBA player.
Brooklyn will be among the 22 teams partaking in the “bubble” games down in Orlando, Florida. However, the Nets will be without Durant, Irving, DeAndre Jordan and Wilson Chandler. KD and Kyrie are recovering from injuries, while Jordan and Chandler have dropped out of the “bubble” games.
Moreover, Spencer Dinwiddie could drop out as well after contracting COVID-19 like Jordan, though he has yet to make a final decision.
Once the seeding games start on July 30, the Nets will have to rack up a better eight-game record than the Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards if they want to keep the seventh spot in the East. It’s going to be tough, though, without Jordan and maybe Dinwiddie.
Once the 2020 offseason begins, Brooklyn general manager Sean Marks will begin his coaching search, but it is believed that the Nets are going to give Vaughn a shot at winning the job.
When Durant and Irving take the floor together in 2020-21, the Nets will be legitimate title contenders. We’ll see if Vaughn is the guy leading the team from the bench.
