Apparently, the Bay Area isn't the only place that new Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant elected to depart recently. According to former NBA small forward Jalen Rose, Durant “got upset” and left a high-rollers fantasy football league, one that features a slew of notable names from the basketball world.

However, Durant isn't the only one that left the league, a group that buys in for $10,000 apiece, as current Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James previously participated as well. It appears as though James left a few years back after coming in last place, according to Rose.

Of course, the former Golden State Warriors standout in Durant has had quite the busy summer already. While leaving the Warriors in favor of the Nets via free agency, Durant notably signed a massive four-year deal with Brooklyn despite the fact that he is coming off of a significant lower-leg injury. Under you have been living under a rock, you know that what ultimately became Durant's last game as a member of the Warriors came to a premature halt due to injury, a setback that will more than likely cost him the entire 2019-20 campaign — his first in Brooklyn.

Nonetheless, the Nets did not shy away from bringing Durant into the fold alongside former Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving, who will obviously be forced to carry the majority of the workload in the absnece of the injured Duran next season. Between Irving and Durant, the duo has won three NBA titles.
