Brooklyn Nets guard Landry Shamet is willing to give his no.13 jersey to the team's new recruit James Harden. Well, for the right price, of course.

Shamet shared a hilarious meme on Friday, suggesting what it would take for him to switch numbers for The Beard. This got the attention of the one-time MVP, who came up with his own hysterical response about the bribe he is preparing for his new teammate.

Here's the hilarious exchange between the two Nets players.

Considering his status as one of the premier talents in the NBA, James Harden is also one of the highest-paid professional athletes today. Plus, he's also been known to be quite generous when it comes to gift-giving. Just ask rapper Lil' Baby, who received a Prada bag, $100,000 in cash, and a $200,000 Richard Mille watch from the NBA superstar for his 26th birthday.

The Nets shooter knows this too well and has already agreed to change jerseys for Harden. By the looks of it, he's already having fun with his new backcourt mate.

The 23-year-old shooter is no stranger to giving up his number when a superstar arrives since he also gave Jimmy Butler no.23 back in his rookie year with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Harden, meanwhile, has donned no.13 throughout his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets. The eight-time All-Star seems to have a great affinity for that number, considering he even named his new restaurant in Houston “Thirteen”.

Harden is expected to make his Nets debut against the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
