The Brooklyn Nets have dealt with multiple injuries to their superstar trio this season. They will be without two of them on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, James Harden is being ruled out for his second consecutive game.

Besides Harden, Kevin Durant has also been ruled out, but a return for the former MVP is imminent. As for Harden, the All-Star shooting guard is dealing with a hamstring ailment that he suffered in Wednesday's victory over the Houston Rockets.

The injury caused him to miss Brooklyn's showdown with the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday, which resulted in a 22-point win for the Nets. Ever since Harden joined Brooklyn via trade early in the season, he's been operating as the team's main facilitator on the offensive end of the floor.

In his 33 starts so far, Harden is compiling 26.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, and a team-high 11.2 assists per game for the Nets. At the same time, Brooklyn has won 26 of their 33 games with Harden in the lineup, allowing them to secure the No. 1 seed from the Philadelphia 76ers recently.

With Harden set to miss his second straight game, Kyrie Irving will be relied upon to lead the team on the offensive end. Additionally, guys like Bruce Brown, LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin, and Joe Harris will need to step up their contributions against the Bulls.

One thing is for sure, even if Harden misses some time, once this team is fully healthy they will become a tough challenge for any opponent.
