The Golden State Warriors bagged their fourth title in eight years on Thursday night as Stephen Curry led the Dubs to a series-clinching win over the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. Unsurprisingly, some fans have now gravitated towards Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant as they discuss how this championship affects KD's legacy with the Warriors.

One random fan claimed that Durant's legacy “just died” after Thursday's historic title win. Apparently, KD was on Twitter and he decided to clap back on some of his haters:

Durant did not appear to be in a foul mood and he just took the jab in stride. He did say that he's “been dead” since he joined the Warriors back in 2016, which is likely in reference to how fans have slandered him since his decision to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also had nothing but love for his former team as he congratulated Golden State on their championship.

KD also took notice of another tweet that claimed that Warriors fans don't like him. Once again, the Nets star just decided to troll the random naysayer:

Durant won back-to-back titles with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018 before deciding to leave the team in 2019 to join his buddy Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn. It's been a rough ride for him thus far with the Nets and his haters are clearly loving all of it.
