Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is embroiled in a scandal he wants absolutely no part of, and it's all about his ashy legs. After a photo of the incredibly dry skin on his leg went viral, just about everyone has weighed in on the superstar's lack of a moisturizing routine.

After making a joke himself about the whole ordeal, Durant clapped back at a fan who sarcastically called his initial tweet “classy.” Surprisingly, Durant quoted none other than Charles Barkley in his response.

KD is just trying to ball and not have to tread carefully with his behavior online. We know this. The NBA's leading scorer has never shied away from his opinion online, and he knows that comes with some scrutinizing opinions. Well, he's putting it out there that he's not in the business of being a role model.

Of course, Barkley said the same thing back in 1993 in a famous Nike commercial, and the message is equally valid from Durant's position. The Nets star's initial tweet was just some harmless fun after the entire internet had a laugh at his expense. Leave it to Twitter to have someone find his comments out of line or inappropriate, but KD simply didn't have time for all that today.

After spending so much time playing the villain role in the NBA, it's refreshing to see KD fully focused on his game with the Nets and not worrying about the opinions of fans. Though, that doesn't mean he won't take a few seconds to roast a hater on social media when the opportunity arises.
