Kyrie Irving is one of the better players in the NBA, and stopping him is a truly difficult feat considering his nasty handles. So when a fan jokingly claimed he could lock him down, the Brooklyn Nets star couldn't help but laugh.

Irving is already a headache for defenders given how well he controls the ball and attacks the rim. This is the reason why he is considered one of the best finishers in the NBA.

While the fan made the comment as a joke–merely to get the attention of the Nets playmaker–it's certainly fun to see Kyrie Irving respond and fire his own rebuttal.

The Nets are surely hoping Kyrie will maintain that unstoppable mentality come the 2021-22 season, especially as they aim to bounce back from another injury-riddled season and get the job done this time.

Irving averaged 26.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game in 2020-21, and he appeared poised to help Kevin Durant and James Harden propel the Nets to the NBA Finals. Unfortunately, an ankle injury in Game 4 of the East semifinals ended his year as Brooklyn went on to lose in seven contests.

For what it's worth, it sure looks like Irving is in a good place mentally and physically given how he's having fun this offseason.
