The NBA announced on Wednesday that Brooklyn Nets guard Allen Crabbe has been fined $15,000 for throwing the a dead ball heave during their game on Monday versus the Atlanta Hawks.

The incident happened with only 4:31 left in the fourth quarter, with the Nets already leading by a huge margin. Crabbe was whistled for an offensive foul, and out of frustration, he threw a full-court heave that hit the shot clock on the other side of the floor. The referee immediately slapped him with a technical foul for his action, and he was then pulled out from the game.

Brooklyn won the game, 110-90, and improved their record to 9-14 for the season. The 25-year-old California product finished with eight points, four rebounds and one assist on the night, but was clearly frustrated towards the end of the match. He will look to bounce back from it and put the incident in the past when the Nets face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday.
