Reggie Miller is one of the best shooters in NBA history. But he might've missed the mark on this one. The NBA on TNT analyst took to Twitter to make a bold (read: ridiculous) suggestion for the Brooklyn Nets ahead of their Game 6 tiff with the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to Miller, maybe the Nets could consider—listen to this—sit out Kevin Durant and James Harden.

You can wipe that frown off your face now.

At first glance, Miller's crazy proposition might sound not too crazy. After all, Durant played all 48 minutes in Game 5, while Harden played for close to 46 minutes—with a hamstring injury and all. But resting your two All-Stars during a possible closeout game is absurd. Why risk going to a Game 7 when the Nets can win finish it off in Game 6? Not a good logic, Reggie Miller.

Durant had an insane triple-double in Game 5, finishing with 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists, becoming the first player in NBA history to record such numbers. Harden struggled from the field, shooting 1-of-10 for five points. He did have six rebounds and eight assists. Not to mention, his presence probably put the Nets at ease. Just seeing him out there might've done wonders for the team's confidence, especially after losing back-to-back outings.

Nets coach Steve Nash saw the otherworldly magic Kevin Durant could make when he's on the floor. James Harden is no stranger to big games too. So following Reggie Miller's off-kilter suggestion would probably do more harm than good. That suggestion wasn't too hard, was it?
