For Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie, there is no question that Kevin Durant is the best scorer in the NBA.  Interestingly though, Dinwiddie also believes that he is in the same level as his teammate.

On Twitter, Dinwiddie followed up on his claim that Durant is the league's best scorer. In his opinion, he's a potent scorer himself:

Kevin Durant is definitely one of the best out there, having four scoring titles to his name. He is also one of eight NBA players in the 50-40-90 club.

In 2013, Durant forged his name beside Larry Bird, Malcolm Brogdon, Stephen Curry, Reggie Miller, Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, and Mark Price as the only players to shoot at least 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from deep and 90 percent from the free-throw line.

For his part, Spencer Dinwiddie has a pretty impressive stat line as well. Before the 2019-20 season was suspended, the Los Angeles native was averaging 20.6 points per game on 41.5 percent from the field in 61 games (49 starts) for the Nets.

With Durant out and Kyrie Irving playing just 20 games due to injuries, the Nets heavily relied on Dinwiddie's scoring abilities. One of his most notable performances in the season came in their duel against the San Antonio Spurs last December, during which the 27-year-old guard exploded for a career-high 41 points.

Interestingly, a fan replied to Dinwiddie's claims, noting that he's just sucking up so as not to be traded. However, Dinwiddie sent out a rebuttal, saying that even before he became teammates with Durant, he was already in awe of the two-time champ's scoring prowess.
