Your ankles aren't safe around Brooklyn Nets All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving even if you're in a basement playing on a mini-hoop.

Just ask Mike Miller's son. The former sharpshooter recorded a video of his son getting crossed over by Irving while the two were playing in the basement:

As we all know, Kyrie Irving arguably has the best handles of all-time. Nets fans can't wait to see Uncle Drew put on a show on a real basketball court next season. Irving, who grew up in New Jersey and was a Nets fan as a kid, signed a four-year, $136.5 million contract with Brooklyn this summer.

As for Miller's son, he learned the hard way not to challenge Irving, even in his own basement. The little man stood no chance against Irving, who is close friends with Miller. The two were teammates on the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2014-15 season.

The Nets had a wonderful offseason. Along with landing Irving, Brooklyn also signed two-time Finals MVP Kevin Durant, All-Star center DeAndre Jordan and veteran forwards Wilson Chandler and Garrett Temple.

Even though Durant is expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his Achilles tear, the Nets should still be able to secure a top-four seed in the East with their new-look roster.
