Kliff Kingsbury has been a hot name this offseason in the NFL coaching carousel, but there were questions about whether he would have the opportunity to interview for jobs. After taking the job as offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans, he had been blocked from interviewing for head coaching jobs.

According to a new report from Pro Football Talk, Kingsbury is going to be allowed to interview for coaching gigs in the NFL. There are teams with plenty of interest in him.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that Kingsbury is interviewing for NFL jobs and has likely left USC after a short stay at the school.

This is a very intriguing development. If Kingsbury has left his position at USC, he must have a very good feeling that he has at least one head coaching gig locked up. Both the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals have been connected as teams with interest in Kingsbury.

Known for his offensive genius, Kingsbury would be a nice addition for either the Jets or Cardinals. Both teams have talented rookie quarterbacks for him to work with and are going through a bit of a rebuild. He would be able to have input on how the team builds moving forward.

There is no telling if more teams are interested in interviewing Kingsbury at this point in time. If he is indeed free to interview with anyone, there is a good chance that more franchises will take a look at him.

Expect to hear more about Kingsbury in the near future as the interviews begin being set up.
