It was not long ago that many people considered Martavis Bryant one of the most exciting young wide receivers in the NFL. His potential was simply through the roof.

However, he had some issues as well. And those issues ended with Bryant being suspended indefinitely from the NFL.

Now it appears teams are showing interest though. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network on Twitter, Bryant has not yet applied for reinstatement, but teams have inquired about him.

Bryant was a fourth-round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2014 NFL Draft. He immediately made an impact, reeling in 26 receptions for 549 yards and eight touchdowns in just 10 games that year.

Bryant then improved drastically in his second season, but was suspended for the entirety of the 2016 season.

In 2017, Bryant returned and once again put up strong numbers. And in 2018 he went to play for the Oakland Raiders (now Las Vegas Raiders).

The wide receiver was suspended for half of that season, and his production saw a significant dip even when he was playing.

Following that year, Bryant served that suspension. It was an indefinite one, and one that has seen him not return to the league yet.

Rapoport does not specify what teams are interested in Bryant, but he might be worth the risk. He has shown to be an elite deep threat when he's on the field.

If this latest suspension helped to straighten Bryant's act, any team that gets him could be getting a legitimate star to bolster their offense.

Don't be surprised if you hear a few big name teams going after the wide receiver. First though, he has to actually get reinstated.
